Being a part of a team is key to job satisfaction and overall improved engagement. Teams require 2 key components:
- “Surround yourself with people smarter than you are.” – JD Rockefeller. It takes the right people doing their part to fulfill the mission. Hiring the best to fit the role on a team is key.
- They must be passionate about the ‘why.’ If they are not passionate, they won’t give it all. When a team member is passionate they will:
- Encourage their fellow team members to fulfill their part of the mission
- Hold team members accountable to their duties in completing the mission
